Parades are a tradition
in Bastrop and this is
the opportunity for our
four-legged friends and
their young owners to
participate. Last year’s
parade was a rousing
success with all
canines on their best
behavior during the
event. There were all
kinds of 4 legged pets
in all shapes and sizes.
There were bearded
dragons and goats on
leashes. This year
prizes will be awarded
for 11 categories and
we will serve lemonade
and cookies to
everyone who
participates.  This
event is a great way to
kick off your July 4th
weekend!
