Yesterfest, held the last Saturday of April every year, is a celebration
of Bastrop's heritage and of the cultures that shaped the town. Join
the fun by dressing in costume from the late 1800’s and shopping
with vendors on Main Street, watching historic demonstrations and
reenactments, or catching a show at the Bastrop Opera House.

Veterans, DBA holds a Classic Car Show in the historic district. One
of the biggest events of the year, this show attracts over 15,000
attendees and 10,000 visitors to the area annually.

The Holiday Season in Bastrop is unlike any other. The lighted
Christmas Parade on the second Saturday of December features
over 100 entries, from floats to cowboys on horseback, all lit up for
the holidays, and draws crowds from all over Central Texas. This
parade follows a day of activities – Second Saturday Market Days on
Main and Pine Streets, and the Historic Homes Tour, sponsored by
the Bastrop County Historical Society, where some of the “jewels of
Bastrop” historic homes are open to the public and decorated for the
season.
